We’re looking for a passionate Creative Director/ Senior Game Designer to join our Digital Engagement team remotely.  

As Creative Director / Senior Game Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the games players experience every day. You’ll lead the day-to-day creative, art, and math direction for the Digital Games Studio’s game portfolio, bringing engaging, high-performing lottery games to life while embedding responsible gambling principles throughout the design process. You’ll help shape the creative vision for the games roadmap and work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, and Development Teams to turn ideas into innovative, compelling game experiences.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, coach and provide motivation across a team of artists and game design mathematicians.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, maintain, and ignite the creative processes within the Digital Games Studio.
• Define, evolve, and champion the creative art and game math direction for all Digital Games Studio games,ensuring alignment with player experience, portfolio strategy, responsible gambling, and business goals.
• Lead ideation and development of new game concepts, themes, layouts, features, and game types in partnership with art, math, product, and external stakeholders to support a competitive, diverse, and responsible revenue-generating portfolio.
• Establish and evolve the Digital Games Studio’s creative identity and quality standards, ensuring games are recognized as best-in-class across graphics, gameplay, player experience, and math.
• Partner with Digital Games Studio stakeholders to understand content needs and ensure alignment across all stages of the game creation process.
• Lead   creative   review   and   feedback   process   for   Digital   Games   Studio   games   from   concept   through development, ensuring stakeholder input is assessed, prioritized, and addressed appropriately.
• Use market research, player insights, and performance data to inform decisions across game design, art direction, math, themes, and portfolio planning.
• Advocate for the player experience by assessing game clarity, entertainment flow, and usability throughout concept, design, and development.
• Collaborate  with Remote Gaming Server development team to enhance game mechanics,  advanced features, etc.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of proven experience in lottery / casino game design or art.
• 5+ years of experience with bringing games from conceptualization to launch
• Demonstrated   ability   to   translate   player   insights   and   performance   data   into   optimized   gameplay experiences.
• Experience in mobile and online required and land-based channels preferred
• Strong understanding of pacing and entertainment flow in lottery and casino gameplay
• Strong understanding of lottery and casino game math and how it relates to the play experience
• Experience using visual design or storyboarding tools to communicate concepts
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence or other similar tools required
• Experience using a programming language (C#, C++, JavaScript, or Python) preferred
• Excellent   communication   [verbal,   written   and   presentation]   and   networking   skills,   able   to   drive consensus
• Strong interest and knowledge of emerging technology trends Comfortable working within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
