We’re looking for an insight-driven Senior Analyst, Commercial Finance to join our team remotely.  

As a Senior Analyst, Commericial finance you'll support business growth and profitability of all digital lottery product lines by providing financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support to commercial and operational teams.

What You'll Do

Commercial Analysis and Deal Support

  • Build and maintain financial models for Business Development to evaluate new commercial opportunities for Pollard’s digital lottery products, including Pollard’s Catalyst Gaming Platform, PlayOn Loyalty Platform, e-Instant Game Studio, Website and Mobile Applications. 
  • Forecast netgaming revenue using cohort-based player lifetime value models.
  • Build and maintain headcount models for call centre, transaction risk, marketing and technology functions, translating business activity drivers into staffing requirements and cost forecasts.
  • Model payment processing costs based on deposit volume and payment method mix assumptions, incorporating interchange, assessment fees, processor margin, chargeback costs and gateway or platform fees.
  • Model third-party costs, including cloud hosting, KYC, marketing communications, process orchestration and SIEM.
  • Evaluate commercial deal structures, including fixed fee arrangements, revenue share agreements and hybrid contract formats.
  • Analyze competitor pricing, fee structures and contract terms to inform commercial positioning.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

  • Contribute to annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast cycles.
  • Track actuals vs. budget to inform updates to commercial models and assist with variance analysis.

Costing

  • Analyze historical time logs to develop standard efforts estimates for chargeable software development work.
  • Calculate fully loaded costs per FTE by department and location.

Performance Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and KPIs that give leadership clear visibility into business performance

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics or a related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar required
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI and reporting tools is an asset
  • Experience with Python is an asset
  • Experience in the technology and real money gaming industries are an asset
