Computer Operator Deliverables

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Computer Operator, Level II, to join our Computer Operations team in our Winnipeg Office at 140 Otter Street.  

As a Deliverables Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all games produced by Pollard Banknote prior to release. This position is responsible for performing final balancing processes, and confirming that all games meet required specifications and are approved for shipment. 
 

The Deliverables Operator also ensures the timely and accurate generation and distribution of all customer deliverables, including (but not limited to) game validation files, return files, second chance hash files, and barcode files. In addition, the role participates in the review and sign-off of draft game specifications to support production quality and compliance. 
 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who thrives in a fastpaced, high-precision environment. 
 
The role requires you to be on-site, Monday to Friday.

What You'll Do

  • Perform final balancing and provide “OK to Ship” approval for all plants
  • Prepare, validate, and release all customer deliverables
  • Prepare end-of-game audit files for external auditors for select customers
  • Review and sign off draft game specifications
  • Completion of Test games for onboarding new customers or customer-initiated changes to deliverable requirements
  • Collaborate with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Communicate with external customers as required
  • After becoming established in the role, contribute to training and mentoring team
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset)
  • ESSENTIAL: Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to perform calculations accurately
  • ESSENTIAL: Ability to learn and retain detailed customer requirements and specifications
  • ESSENTIAL: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required
  • Intermediate computer skills, including experience with Unix and Windows environments
  • 1–2 years of experience within a manufacturing environment (Pollard Banknote experience is an asset)
  • Proven ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in high-volume work
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
