Junior ServiceNow Developer

We’re looking for Junior ServiceNow Developer to join our IT Management & Governance team within our Winnipeg Office.

Our ServiceNow Developer will support, enhance, and maintain the ServiceNow platform and its related integrations. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions, including catalog items, workflows, customer portals, SLAs, reports, and dashboards.

The developer will build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and connected systems such as Exalate, Jira, PagerDuty, and Grafana.

This role will participate in quality assurance activities, including reviewing and testing peer-developed solutions, and will ensure all developed features and integrations are properly documented. This position requires a strong focus on platform reliability, continuous improvement, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Gathering and analyzing requirements, scoping new requests, providing development estimates, and delivering scalable solutions that meet business needs.
  • The role also includes managing platform upgrades, patching, security requirements, user and group administration, and troubleshooting incidents and service requests related to
  • ServiceNow and its interfaces.
  • Ensure the stability, health, performance, and security of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Monitor and maintain system interfaces, integrations, and workflows to ensure they function as designed and support business operations effectively.
  • Develop, maintain, and document technical processes, configurations, and features to support knowledge sharing, operational continuity, and team-wide supportability.
  • Administer user access by managing group memberships, permissions, roles, and licensing to ensure appropriate access controls and compliance.

What You'll Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working in corporate environments, with an understanding of professional business operations and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including incident and change management, with familiarity using IT ticketing systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Groovy to support automation, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
  • Experience with ServiceNow considered an asset.
