We’re looking for a hands on Lead Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway. 

A Lead Maintenance Technician is a senior-level maintenance role that combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities. This position will oversee daily maintenance operations during the first (1^st.) shift, lead a team of technicians through their daily assignments and tasks, and ensure facilities and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OEM guidelines for equipment care and maintenance sustaining a proactive approach toward PM compliance, Planned Work Order Execution, and the continuous improvement drive toward sustainable reliability centered maintenance ensuring that systems and equipment continue to operate as required in their current operating context. Be capable of focusing on and identifying critical functions, potential failures of devices, assemblies, and systems. Understand the consequences of those failures and assist with determining the most effective maintenance strategies to prevent or mitigate failures. Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Planner with daily/weekly/monthly planning of scheduled maintenance activities.

What You'll Do

• Lead, assign, and train maintenance staff.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities
• Ensure team members follow safety, quality, and high craftsmanship standards while , executing work order tasks PM, Planned, Break in work orders
• Perform and oversee repairs in multiple disciplines, including facility related maintenance and repairs as well as equipment related repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems; ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

What You'll Bring

• High School Dipoloma/ GED
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in the industrial maintenance field.
• Good to Excellent Ability and Skill Levels with
• Understanding of Automations 
• Electrical Systems, both equipment and facility
