Cloud Security Lead

We are looking for a self-driven Cloud Security Lead to join our Information Security Team within our Winnipeg Head Office located at 140 Otter Street. 

As Cloud Security Lead, you will lead the development, implementation and management of cloud security policies, procedures and controls to protect our organizations data, systems and assets. You will collaborate with the broader security team and engineering functions to provide guidance, best practices and training to ensure the secure adoption s of cloud services and to identify and remediate security risks.

What You'll Do

  • Lead initiatives that provide tangible improvements to our cloud security posture Work with various stakeholders to identify security processes that can be automated and build out these capabilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage cloud security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization’s cloud infrastructure, services, and applications
  • Lead the implementation and operation of cloud security tools, technologies, and processes to ensure we meet our security requirements
  • Write and review technical proposals, architectural diagrams, application code and cloud formation
  •  Leverage native cloud technologies and best practices to build secure by default environments Identify design and configuration flaws in our cloud infrastructure that could be exploited by bad actors and provide strategic solutions to prioritize and mitigate these weaknesses and vulnerabilities
  • Participate in incident response activities and provide guidance and support to remediate security incidents and breaches.

  • You have expertise with cloud platforms and IT Security compliance standards.

  • You have keen attention to detail that allows you to foresee potential risks and/or opportunities.
  • You enjoy solving problems, analyzing challenges and implementing cloud security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization’s cloud infrastructure, services, and applications.

 

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in Cloud Security or DevSec Ops with hands-on experience in AWS and Azure.
  • 3+ years’ leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting, securing, providing, debugging and maintaining mutli-account AWS environment.
  • Experience implementing and building a Cloud Program.
  • Technical experience in Cloud Security tools: CNAPP, CSPM, CASBs.
  • Experience with scripting languages: CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Node.js, etc.
  • Experience leading initiatives that measurable improve the security of cloud environments.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and technical leadership groups would be essential
  • Demonstrated experience writing and reviewing technical proposals, architectural diagrams, application code and cloud formation.
  • Lottery or Gaming experience is considered an asset.
