Manufacturing Analyst

We’re looking for a detail oriented and driven Manufacturing Analyst to join our Manufacturing team within our Winnipeg Office at 140 Otter Street. 

The Manufacturing Analyst is responsible for analyzing production processes and data within a manufacturing facility to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the smooth operation of production systems. Reporting to the VP of Manufacuring, this role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that enhance overall productivity and performance.

What You'll Do

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends, variances, and inefficiencies.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor performance and support decision-making.

  • Utilize statistical tools to pinpoint process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Evaluate and streamline manufacturing workflows to eliminate inefficiencies or bottlenecks.

  • Collaborate with production teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Recommend and execute process changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.

  • Analyze production costs, labor efficiency, and material usage for cost reduction strategies.

  • Support financial decision-making through cost analysis and budgeting for equipment, processes, and schedules.

  • Coordinate with departments like engineering and quality assurance to gather data and implement improvements.

  • Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

  • Lead or participate in cross-functional projects for manufacturing advancements.

  • Use manufacturing software (ERP, MES) to analyze data and optimize operations.

  • Provide support for implementing new technologies and systems in production.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on data analysis and process improvement.

  • Experience with manufacturing software systems

  • Experience with use of AI for data analysis is an asset
