We’re looking for a focused Packing Line Feeder to join our Finishing Department team for a 12 hour 3 day work shift within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway. 

Slabbers are tasked with breaking down cartons of tickets in sequential order to be put on the automation line. They must work as a team to keep up with the pace of the automated finishing line and move/organize ticket racks to ensure that the product is in the correct order once it’s placed on the conveyor belt.

What You'll Do

• Moving and locating racks of folded lottery tickets to the production area of the Packing Line for the finishing process
• Unloading the slabs of tickets from the racks and supplying them onto the Packing Line
• Breaking down full slabs of tickets into individual layers (or slabs – “slabbing”)
• Maintaining and managing the Slab O’Matic scanner for sequential operation while loading the Packing Line
• Participates in all job-related safety training and personally complies with all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work for sustained periods of time, walking and standing and lifting up to 35 lbs
• Understanding of and consistent adherence to Health & Safety , Quality and Security standards
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and work on a team

• Basic computer skills

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to use manual and electric pallet jack
• Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate work
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain productivity to meet production deadlines
• Prior packaging experience
• Willingness to cross train others
