As a Software Engineering Manager,  you'll play a hands-on role in building the foundation of our iLottery Catalyst platform. You’ll drive impact by providing engineers with the direction, support, and coaching they need to deliver high-quality solutions quickly and confidently. Leading the Shared Services team, you’ll drive the development of the core services that power our products - enabling speed, consistency, and reliability across the platform. 

This role blends technical leadership with team development. You’ll work alongside engineers, shaping architecture, guiding execution, and removing obstacles so the team can move fast and ship with confidence. From strategy to delivery, you’ll ensure our shared capabilities scale to meet the evolving needs of product and engineering teams around the world. 

• Lead and Develop Talent: Build and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers. Provide regular feedback, support career growth, and create an environment where engineers do their best work.
• Drive the Strategy for Shared Services: Own and execute the roadmap for Shared Services, aligning with product and platform leaders to enable Catalyst’s broader goals.
• Own Service Reliability and Scale: Ensure our core services are scalable, resilient, and easy to integrate. Champion automation and self-service to empower stream-aligned teams.
• Shape Technical Direction: Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to define technical strategy, enforce architectural best practices, and align with long-term platform vision.
• Optimize the Way We Work: Foster agile, metrics-informed development. Continuously improve team operations by facilitating effective ceremonies and streamlining delivery practices.
• Partner Across the Platform: Work closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure leaders to ensure shared services integrate cleanly and evolve alongside the broader Catalyst ecosystem.
