If so, Pollard Digital Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated entry-level Technical Writer to join our Knowledge Management team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to develop hands-on experience in product documentation, work closely with experienced professionals, and build a strong foundation in a technology-driven environment.

What You’ll Do:
Product & Technical Documentation
-
Learn about our lottery solutions and understand how our products and features work.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other team members to develop and maintain product documentation.

Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible content for lottery customers, business stakeholders, and internal teams.
RFP & Business Development Support

Assist with the drafting and editing of technical content used in responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Help organize and maintain a library of approved, reusable technical content.

Review proposal drafts to check for clarity, basic technical accuracy, and consistency in tone and style.
Who You Are:
-
A recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Communication, or a related technical field (e.g. Computer Science).

A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills.

Curious and motivated to learn technical concepts, even without extensive prior technical expertise.

Collaborative and comfortable working with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.

Able to adapt communication styles for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in a technical writing environment.
What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in English, Communications, Technical Communication, or a related field.

0–2 years of experience in technical writing, content creation, documentation, or a similar role.

Familiarity with documentation or collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, Paligo, or similar platforms, or willingness to learn quickly.

Strong ability to research, structure, and present information clearly.

Experience using AI tools to support writing and content creation is considered a plus.
