Senior Human Resources Director

We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Human Resources Director to join our Winnipeg-based HR team and make a lasting impact across our Canadian and U.S. operations.

As the Senior Human Resources Director, you’ll provide both strategic and operational HR leadership, supporting a workforce of approximately 1,300 employees in manufacturing and corporate environments. You’ll guide and mentor a team of HR Leaders and Generalists, ensuring HR programs, policies, and services are delivered consistently, compliantly and in a way that enhances the employee experience.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and deliver HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives, growth plans and operational priorities.
  • HR Operations & Employee Relations: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including workforce planning, policy administration, and employee relations, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices across both manufacturing and corporate environments.
  • People Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Leaders and HR Generalists, fostering a high-performance culture that drives employee engagement, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Talent Strategy & Program Delivery: Collaborate with the Director, Talent Management to align talent acquisition, development and retention strategies with business-growth priorities, ensuring leadership pipelines and critical capabilities are built for the future.
  • Compliance, Risk Management & Culture: Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. employment legislation, mitigate HR-related risks, and champion initiatives that foster an inclusive, positive, and high-performing workplace culture.

What You'll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CHRL/CPHR designation preferred but not required).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including leading multi-site operations in both manufacturing and corporate environments.
  • Expertise in HR operations and employment legislation across Canada and the U.S.
  • Proven experience in organizational change management, guiding teams and business leaders through transitions.
  • Skilled in talent strategy development and implementation, including workforce planning, leadership pipelines, and retention initiatives.
  • Experience within a Technology Company would be preferred.
