We’re looking for an exceptional DevOps Engineer to join our team within Canada in either the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
Our DevOps engineers build the infrastructure that powers our entire iLottery platform. From high-traffic APIs to rock-solid deployment pipelines, they make sure everything runs fast, smooth, and secure—no matter how many millions of players are online.

What You'll Do
- Design Infrastructure for Scale: Architect and evolve our microservices-based Cloud infrastructure to support rapid growth and global demand, with an emphasis on resilience, scalability, and automation.
- Optimize the Cloud Backbone: Lead the design, implementation, and tuning of our AWS environment, balancing performance, security, and cost across services and accounts.
- Build Deployment Confidence: Design and maintain GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines that streamline delivery while enforcing quality, security, and reliability at every stage.
- Own Kubernetes, End to End: Manage and optimize our Kubernetes clusters in production, embedding operational best practices and ensuring high availability and observability.
- Partner Across the Stack: Act as a bridge between application teams and infrastructure, enabling fast, safe, and consistent delivery through reusable DevOps tooling.
- Automate the Lifecycle: Embed DevOps principles across the SDLC—driving automation, infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform), and shift-left practices across teams.
- Engineer for Reliability: Continuously improve system performance, availability, and monitoring to ensure world-class service reliability.
- Secure by Design: Apply deep knowledge of AWS and application security to implement proactive safeguards, enforce compliance, and protect against emerging threats. Promote secure-by-default configurations through templates and reusable modules.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering, with a track record of owning high-scale environments
- 3+ Years of working with AWS, including designing, architecting, and implementing
- Expert-level experience with Kubernetes in production—managing clusters, automating deployments, and keeping things fast and stable
- Strong grasp of application security, secrets management, and compliance in cloud-native systems
- Fluency with GitHub, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD pipelines, and a passion for automating everything
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK
- Solid communication and collaboration skills—you work well across teams and explain infrastructure to non-infra folks
- Proven ability to mentor others, share knowledge, and influence engineering culture
