Engineering Manager

We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead one or more of our high‑impact, cross‑functional product‑development teams. Our engineering organization centers on teams aligned to domain‑specific work‑streams, supported by a dedicated Platform Engineering group. As part of our fast‑scaling engineering organization, you’ll play a key leadership role in developing both the people and the systems behind the products that matter most to our customers.   

Reporting to a Director of Engineering and collaborating closely with Product, Architecture, and other engineering leaders, you will be accountable for your teams’ outcomes and for shaping the engineering ecosystem - fostering quality, high‑performing teams and a smooth flow from concept to production. You will help shape a strong team culture rooted in ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement - supporting engineers to do their best work and teams to deliver real value at speed and scale.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead & grow 1–2 Stream‑Aligned teams: coach, mentor and empower engineers while delivering meaningful business outcomes.  

  • Foster continuous delivery & feedback loops: cultivate iterative delivery, rapid feedback and data‑driven learning to uphold quality. 

  • Shape the roadmap with Product & Architecture: collaborate to scope work, balance near‑term goals with long‑term sustainability and communicate trade‑offs.  

  • Drive engineering excellence: embed testing, observability, performance, maintainability and scalability into everyday work.  

  • Own delivery management and drive execution excellence: measure and optimize flow, remove bottlenecks and ensure predictable delivery. 

  • Scale & nurture the organization: hire, onboard and retain diverse talent, reinforce team health and foster an inclusive engineering culture. 

  • Champion cross‑team initiatives: partner with Platform to improve developer experience, reduce friction and support sustainable growth.  

  • Manage change & incidents: steer teams calmly through organizational shifts and production issues, protecting focus and morale. 

  • Engage stakeholders: maintain transparent communication, celebrate wins and align expectations across product, design and leadership.

What You’ll Need: 

  • 2+ years of Engineering Manager or similar experience and 7+ years overall in software engineering.  

  • Proven success leading autonomous, cross-functional product engineering teams, ideally with hands-on experience applying Team topologies in a scaling environment.   

  • Solid understanding of modern cloud architectures, automated testing, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.   

  • Track record of hiring, coaching and retaining engineering talent and developing high-performing, collaborative team dynamics.   

  • Experience working in agile, iterative development environments.   

  • Ability to align engineering execution with product and business goals.   

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
