We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance team! Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this full time, permanent position will support a growing and dynamic organization in the Lottery and Gaming industry. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of month-end closes, help manage the day to day activities of the accounting department, and assist in identifying and implementing process improvements and various projects.

What You'll Do

• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly internal reports.

• Support the preparation of annual budgets.

• Oversee general accounting functions and ensure financial accuracy.

• Lead, mentor, and train a team of two staff members.

• Identify and implement improvements in internal controls and procedures.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.

• Maintain, analyze, and enhance financial data and reporting processes.

• Reconcile and prepare quarterly and annual pension reports.

• Support management with finance, treasury, and accounting tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring

• CPA designation required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience reporting to senior management in an accounting or finance role.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
• Supervisory experience is considered an asset.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial software.
