
Accounting Supervisor

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance team! Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this full time, permanent position will support a growing and dynamic organization in the Lottery and Gaming industry. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of month-end closes, help manage the day to day activities of the accounting department, and assist in identifying and implementing process improvements and various projects.

What You'll Do

Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly internal reports.

Support the preparation of annual budgets.

Oversee general accounting functions and ensure financial accuracy.

Lead, mentor, and train a team of two staff members.

Identify and implement improvements in internal controls and procedures.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.

Maintain, analyze, and enhance financial data and reporting processes.

Reconcile and prepare quarterly and annual pension reports.
- Support management with finance, treasury, and accounting tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience reporting to senior management in an accounting or finance role.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial software.
