Software Developer Co-op - Creative Services

We are seeking a hands-on Software Developer to support our Creative Services team by building web-based tools that streamline creative workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance accuracy. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support practical digital solutions for a Creative Art department, with a primary focus on tools that assist with wireframe generation, production planning, and day-to-day creative work.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based tools that support Creative Services workflows.
  • Build solutions that help artists and production teams move efficiently from concept to execution.
  • Support the development of a wireframe generation tool to improve creative planning and production.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to understand workflow needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot applications and contribute to continuous improvement and workflow standardization.

What You'll Bring

  • Working toward post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of current web technologies such as React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, and API-based application development.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of image formats such as SVG, TIFF, EPS, and PDF is considered an asset.
