We’re looking for a productive Shipper Reciever to join our Shipping and Reciever Department team for a 12 hour 3 day work week within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway. 

This position is responsible for general warehouse operations, loading and unloading of materials on trucks, prepping pallets for outbound shipments and maintaining stock/inventory.

What You'll Do

• Coordinating and communicating within the S&R Team and manufacturing in regards to deliveries & shipments
• Staging, Loading and unloading inbound/outbound shipments
• Inventory control by correctly verifying & receiving products in our inventory system
• Identify and correct any deficiencies related to shipping and/or receiving
• Process all materials or WIP according to work instructions for all Finished pallets, Rolls & Crates shipping to internal or external customers
• Process paperwork associated with shipping and receiving
• Ensure all internal/external customer requirements are met for inbound & outbound freight.
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or GED
• Material handling skills and experience
• Minimum one year of experience using sit down and stand-up forklift
• Clamp truck experience is a plus
• Knowledge in MS Word & Excel preferred
• Experience performing checklist for daily use of equipment
• Familiarity with safe warehouse procedures and regulations
• Must be able to work outdoors in all inclement of weather
