We’re looking for eager to work, printing line operator professional to join our Finishing department, in the position of Folder Operator. The schedule will follow a 3-day work week, working 12-hour shifts within our Sault Ste. Marie Plant at 45 White Oak Drive East. Reporting to the Plant Manager and Assistant Finishing Manager, The Folder Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining slitting/folding and sheeting equipment.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate slitting/folding and sheeting equipment to process instant tickets
  • Ensure products are slit, folded, or sheeted and prepared for subsequent Finishing by game specifications and quality standards
  • Ensure optimal equipment performance setup, operation, and preventative maintenance
  • Meet production targets, quality, and integrity standards
  • Responsible for ensuring department reports are complete + accurate
  • Suggest corrective action and preventive measures
  • Adhere to the company’s procedures, and policies with respect to operation, security, and Health and Safety

 

Who You Are

  • Possess a passion for operating printing equipment
  • Possess experience with troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to self-motivate and maintain productivity to meet firm production deadlines
  • Must be punctual and diligent
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed game specifications
  • A collaborative individual who communicates compassionately and clearly
  • A highly adaptable team player who can handle multiple tasks
  • An analytical, detail-orientated problem-solver, with strong attention to detail skills
  • Ability to effectively adapt and reprioritize work
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 Ibs

 

What You'll Bring

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred and leadership experience as asset
  • Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting ability
  • Computer skills and experience working with automated machinery
