Maintenance Supervisor (NIGHTS)
We’re looking for a well rounded Night Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance Department team within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway.
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities for production equipment and facility systems. This includes managing preventive maintenance, repairs, and emergency work orders while maintaining accurate records in the maintenance management system. The role provides leadership to maintenance staff and serves as the main liaison between Maintenance, Production, and other departments to ensure efficient operations, minimize downtime, and support overall plant performance.

What You'll Do
- Ensure effective planning and scheduling to reduce downtime and costs.
- Supervise, lead, direct and schedule a team of maintenance staff
- Ensure all scheduled and plan work orders are in compliance with Company 's established procedures and policies with respect to operation, health and safety and security
- Gather necessary engineering or technical documents, specification and drawings and write clear and concise work procedures
- Create shift schedules and assignments
- Conduct daily stand up meeting to ensure all parties are up to date on status of equipment and work order activities ensuring smooth shift to shift transfer and necessary information is communicated
Who You Are
- Demonstrates the ability to lead and/or influence a team (Engineers, Operations and Outside Suppliers) in the effort to solve and execute maintenance work
- Provide expert maintenance advice to operations
- Ability to apply technical and maintenance experience to analysis of each job
- Ability to make well-informed t hought-out decisions, examining impacts and potential impacts to support the business and able to make effective decisions when information is limited
