Manufacturing Training Coordinator - Instant Ticket Production
Pollard Banknote Limited

We're looking for a resourceful, process-driven Training Coordinator to join our Manufacturing team within our Winnipeg Office at 140 Otter Street.
This is a newly established, long-term opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of operational knowledge and structured learning. You'll own the training function for our press room operations — designing how knowledge gets captured, who delivers it, and how we measure whether it's actually working. What You'll Do
- Assess training needs across press room operations for new and existing employees; identify competency gaps and build plans to close them
- Coordinate and manage subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the right people are delivering the right training — you don't need to know everything, but you need to know who does and how to get them in the room
- Design and maintain a training matrix that tracks who needs to be trained on what, by when, and to what standard
- Develop training aids, SOPs, manuals, and reference materials that capture process knowledge in a clear, usable format
- Deliver and facilitate training programs using a variety of methods including on-the-job coaching, classroom instruction, and hands-on floor training
- Track and report on training outcomes; evaluate program effectiveness and make evidence-based recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate employee training records and manage logistics for all training activities
- Partner with manufacturing leadership and stakeholders to align training priorities with operational goals
- Participate in process and throughput improvement initiatives as capacity allows
Who You Are
- A natural project manager — you can hold a plan, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and keep things moving without being the bottleneck
- Someone who can translate complex technical processes into clear, accessible training without losing the detail that matters.
- Skilled at working in manufacturing environments while supporting the creation and refinement of structure and processes.
-
Strong collaboration skills with subject matter experts, transforming technical and complex information into clear, engaging, and digestible content.
- Organized, self-directed, and able to manage competing priorities without losing momentum
- A strong communicator — equally at ease on the production floor and in a documentation review meeting
What You'll Bring

- Post-secondary education in a related field (business, operations, adult education, or equivalent); equivalent combinations of education and hands-on experience will be considered
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in an operational training or training coordination role within a manufacturing environment

- Familiarity with printing, bindery, or production environments is a strong asset
Technical Skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with learning management systems or training tracking tools considered an asset
