We’re looking for a Supply Chain Operations Engineer to join our Operations team within our Winnipeg Office.
As the Supply Chain Operations Engineer, you are responsible for optimizing manufacturing supply chain performance by designing, analyzing, and improving material flow, production planning, and inventory systems across the plants. You will bridge planning and execution to ensure efficient production schedules, balanced capacity, and reliable material availability.

What You'll Do
-
Optimize manufacturing supply chain processes including production planning and scheduling, material flow and line balancing and Inventory control (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).

Analyze production constraints, lead times, and capacity to improve throughput and on‐time delivery.

Apply APICS planning concepts (MRP, S&OP, demand planning, capacity planning) to align supply with production demand.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and industrial engineering tools.

Develop and monitor manufacturing KPIs such as schedule adherence, inventory turns, OEE impact, and material shortages.

Partner with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Procurement, and Quality teams to improve production readiness and execution.

Support ERP/MRP accuracy, including routings, lead times, and inventory parameters.

Perform root‑cause analysis for production delays, material shortages, excess inventory, and cost variances.

Standardize planning and execution processes across production lines or manufacturing sites.

Support new product development (NPD) by ensuring supply chain readiness and manufacturability.

Evaluate supplier capacity impacts, and production footprint changes

Lead change initiatives in a production environment, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Systems, or Supply Chain Engineering).

APICS certification required (CPIM or CSCP).

3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant‑based supply chain environment.

Strong working knowledge of MRP, production planning, inventory management, and capacity planning.

Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Advanced Excel skills and experience with business analyis and/or S&OP planning software (e.g SAP IBP, Arkieva, Power BI,etc) tools is an asset.

Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems

Ability to work on the plant floor and collaborate directly with manufacturing teams.
