Senior Analyst, Corporate Financial Reporting

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Corporate Financial Reporting to join our corporate finance team within our Winnipeg office.

Reporting to the Group Controller, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and timely financial statements for a complex, publicly traded company. This position blends external financial reporting with technical accounting and internal analysis, all while working closely with other members of the finance team. You will also support ongoing improvements to reporting processes and contribute to the finance team's overall effectiveness in a global, growth-focused environment.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, MD&A and related earnings releases in compliance with IFRS and OSC requirements
  • Manage regulatory filings, including SEDAR+ submissions
  • Produce monthly internal financial reports and performance insights in collaboration with FP&A
  • Oversee goodwill and intangible asset impairment testing
  • Prepare supporting documentation for annual external audit
  • Maintain and enhance a strong internal control environment over financial reporting
  • Research and lead the implementation of new IFRS accounting standards as required
  • Drive improvements in reporting processes, systems, and automation initiatives

Who You Are

  • Deeply knowledgeable in IFRS, including financial disclosure requirements, revenue recognition, and impairment standards.
  • Detail-oriented and precise, with a strong commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Organized and efficient, able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Highly analytical with a talent for identifying problems and driving practical solutions.
  • Proactive by nature, always looking for opportunities to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
  • Deadline-driven and reliable, with a strong sense of accountability to critical business timelines

What You'll Bring

  • Graduate of CPA or legacy equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in financial reporting, public accounting, or technical accounting
  • Experience with TSX-listed or other public companies preferred
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Proficiency with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., Word, Excel, BI tools)
