We’re looking for detailed-orientedLab Supervisor(Days) to join our Lab Department team within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway.

The Lab Supervisor provides work instruction and guidance to the Lab Technicians, ensures ticket security is maintained through rigorous and reliable lab testing procedures and provides precise and accurate reports on security conformance according to company and customer specifications.  The Lab Supervisor will work closely with the Lab Manager, located in Winnipeg, Canada, to ensure staffing levels, equipment, materials, and schedules are in place to meet departmental, customers and manufacturing requirements.

What You'll Do

• Ensure games meet established security, playability, and printing standards. 
• Provide feedback to manufacturing throughout the production run through ticket testing and monitoring
• Ensures AR’s are investigated in a timely fashion with the proper focus on determination of root cause
• Assist manager with preprod, R&D testing
• Assist with R&D projects in Ypsilanti plant
• Ensure Lab staff are performing tests according to Security Procedures
• Equipment works correctly, lab staff are trained and proficient
• Other duties as assigned      
• Follow and ensure Lab staff members are following safe work practices and procedures
• Provide day to day work instruction, direction, and guidance to Lab staff
• Recommend efficiencies and ways to reduce costs
• Ensure department has required resources and optimizes the use of resources

• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate work
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain productivity to meet production       deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to keep a clean and ordered work environment
• Willingness to cross train and assist in training others

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5+ years’ experience working in a Lab Technician experience
• Prior supervisory or experience leading a group of employees as an asset
• 5 + years in security printing as an asset
