We’re looking for an flexible Production Floater-Finishing to join our Finishing Department team for a 3-days 12-hr shift within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway.

The Production Floater sets up, operates, and troubleshoots the Book Breaker and adjacent transfer systems on the automated finishing line. The role also operates and troubleshoots the automatic case erector, top sealer, ARPAC shrink-wrap machine, and verification cameras, while supporting overall automation line operations. Working with the Packing Line Operator and Packing Line Second Operator, the Production Floater monitors product quality and helps ensure production targets are met.

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate and troubleshoot the Book Breaker
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot the ARPAC shrink-wrap machine
• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate the automatic case erector, top sealer and carton label applicator
• Support the Packing Line Operator and Second Operator in monitoring product quality throughout the automation line and meeting production targets
• Provide training for new Packing Line Feeders, Assistants, Third Operators, and Second Operators
• Assist with game balancing and sample inspections
• Assist with ordering cartons, pallets, and supplies
• Fill in for call offs
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• Strong working knowledge of computer applications
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail essential
• Good working knowledge of lottery production
• Ability to work well with numbers
• Prior packaging experience a plus

What You'll Bring

• Less than 3 points for attendance
• Must be in good disciplinary standing

• Strong mechanical and analytical skills (MAT score 40)

• Ability to work for sustained periods of time, walking and standing and lifting up to 35 lbs
