
Vice President, Accounting

We’re looking for a hands-on Vice President, Accounting to join our Finance team within our Omaha location.
As the Vice President, Accounting, you’ll oversee all financial operations that support the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper. From day-to-day accounting and reporting to budgeting and compliance, you’ll help drive financial processes that enable operational efficiency and future growth.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Charitable Gaming, you’ll lead a small, dedicated finance team and serve as a trusted partner to both local leadership and our corporate head office. Your ability to deliver accurate, timely financial insights and streamline operations will be critical in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative and detail-oriented finance leader who enjoys balancing strategic input with hands-on execution.

What You'll Do
- Report to the Executive Vice President, Charitable Gaming on all financial, budgeting, and analysis functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Oversee the accounting, reporting, and financial analysis for charitable gaming businesses, ensuring effective control systems are in place.
- Lead the integration of finance resources from recent and future acquisitions, ensuring alignment and maximum effectiveness.
- Assist in the implementation of a new ERP system to meet stakeholder needs and work with IT to align company objectives.
- Liaise with Corporate Head Office on financial reporting, treasury functions (cash flow, foreign exchange, insurance), and other financial issues.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results, providing key insights using KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to develop costing models and product cost standards to ensure efficient operations and proper inventory valuations.
- Facilitate the preparation of the annual consolidated budget and contribute to strategic planning and policymaking.
- Support Human Resources with the annual review of employee benefits and other HR-related financial matters.
- Present regular financial updates to the executive team and manage special projects as required.

What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of finance experience, preferably in production management, operations, procurement, and supply chain management, with 5-10 years reporting to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with CPA or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience with complex ERP system selection and implementation, including leading new system conversions and familiarity with ERP software.
- Extensive knowledge of all accounting operations (payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation), with prior manufacturing experience being an asset.
- Strong analytic skills with a focus on structured problem-solving and time management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with value-centered leadership and work effectively in both team environments and independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Superior computer skills, especially with ERP systems and standard software (Excel, Word).
- Must be a US Citizen/Permanent Resident for external candidates.
