We’re looking for a hard-working Shredder Operator to join our Shipping and Recieving team for a Quad Shift within our Ypsilanti Plant at 775 James L Hart Parkway. 

Working at our manufacturing plant in Ypsilanti, MI. this full-time permanent position is responsible for the shredding of materials and assisting the Shipping & Receiving department with related duties.

What You'll Do

•  Operation of shredding and bailing equipment
• Communicate container switch out delay
• Maintain equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of shredding room
• Maintain the dust collection drums inside & outside so they are cleaned out regularly
•  Maintaining Shredder logs daily
• Maintain security of tickets and are
• Maintain cleanliness of compacting area
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• Forklift license or recent experience a plus
• Material handling skills
• Warehouse experience
• Self-motivated individual cable of performing routine tasks with minimal supervision
• Physical capabilities include lifting & loading products weighing approximately 50 pounds

What You'll Bring

• High School Dipoloma or GED
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Able to sustain extended periods of walking and standing and lift, push, pull up to 20-55 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and produce accurate work
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain productivity to meet production deadlines
