Associate Product Manager

We are looking for a talented individual to join our growing product team as an Associate Product Manager. Reporting into the Group Product Manager as an Associate Product Manager, you will work closely with Product Managers to contribute towards product discovery, development, and delivery for Pollard Banknote’s world-class lottery platform, products, and gaming experiences. What You’ll Do:   

  • Support the development and enhancement of wallet and payment experiences, including deposits, withdrawals, payment methods, transaction processing, and account funding journeys. 

  • Investigate production issues, payment failures, transaction discrepancies, and operational challenges, working closely with engineering teams to understand root causes and support solution delivery. 

  • Analyze transaction flows, integrations, and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and user experience. 

  • Work with payment processors, third-party vendors, and internal teams to support integrations, configuration, testing, and ongoing platform enhancements. 

  • Document payment workflows, system interactions, business rules, and product requirements to ensure solutions are clearly understood and effectively implemented. 

  • Support Product Managers with product discovery, requirements gathering, story writing, backlog management, and feature delivery activities, while actively participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration. 

 

Who You Are: 

  • You have a technical background and enjoy understanding how complex systems work and are naturally curious about transaction processing, integrations, and technical workflows. 

  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to work with data, identify trends, investigate issues, and support data-driven decision making. 

  • Comfortable working alongside engineers and technical teams to understand APIs, integrations, system behavior, and platform architecture. 

  • Strong problem solver who enjoys getting into details of complex challenges to find solutions. 

  • Excellent communicator who can work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. 

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver. 

  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of problems and see them through to resolution. 

  • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced product environment. 

 

What You'll Bring: 

  • 1-3 years of experience working with software products in product management, product owner, business analyst, technical analyst, QA, implementation, or similar role. 

  • Post-secondary education in business, computer science, engineering, information systems, or related fields. 

  • High English proficiency, along with strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong technical curiosity and comfort working with software systems, integrations, APIs, transaction workflows, and business processes. 

  • Experience working with payment processors, payment gateways, digital wallets, financial services, fintech products, e-commerce payments, banking integrations, or transaction-based systems would be highly beneficial. 

  • Familiarity with payment concepts such as deposits, withdrawals, transaction lifecycle management, reconciliation, settlement, chargebacks, fraud prevention, or payment operations would be advantageous. 

  • Experience analyzing logs, investigating production issues, interpreting API responses, or troubleshooting technical workflows would be considered a strong asset. 

  • Understanding of lotteries, gaming, regulated industries, or real-money transaction platforms would be beneficial.
